2010 Con (Oct 8-10)

  You knew him as sassy Otis, handsome Hathaway, or by the nickname "Blondie", but he started on the comedy circuit, and is performing his late night comedy act after the Saturday night banquet and cast panel. (Note: the act is a bit "blue", so patrons under 18 should attend only at their parents discretion!).  This bonus act is added so that we can cram EVEN MORE great events into this fabulous weekend.  BE THERE!  The more Adventurers we get, the more incredible this convention is going to be...  Why?  well...

1)  The irrepressible Lou Mongello, renowned podcaster for WDW Radio, signs on as a host for an event at ConGaloosh 2010,  Lou will be hosting the Magic Kingdom Meet and participating in other ways ...more information to follow

2)  The 2010 ConGaloosh Convention Friday Reunion Dinner Gala will be n Cairo, Egypt (behind the Indiana Jones Adventure)!    The show is New (it's new!) & Different (It's different!), BUT performed by characters you KNOW and LOVE, while you watch with your fellow adventurers (characters you know and love)!

3) The Convention Kick-off Meet on Friday wiill be hosted by "Jungle Jim Korkis" in Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Great Movie Ride.  Jim also will provide a feature presentation written by this learned Disney historian packed with secrets, trivia, and Adventurer's Club lore galore!   (All events in Disney's parks subject to Disney's schedule changes, of course, and separate park admission required for meets.  Both banquets and show admission are included in registraion fee)

4) The Friday banquet takes you to Cairo, Egypt, behind the Indiana Jones Adventure, for a reunion with the Permanent Members of the Club and a NEW SHOW being premiered, albeit with favorite classic twists. Also, we have confirmed a special appearance by singing sensation Andrea Canny, accompanied by the one and only John DeHaas!! We have the space reserved all to ourselves from 8 pm to midnight for a spectacular evening.

5) Saturday morning we will be reprising the fabulous "Adventurer's Jungle Cruise" together.  Leading the Cruise (and presenting on this great ride) will be CoHost Lou Mongello.  For Saturday afternoon, the trade show will be a great way to show off (or acquire) Disney artifacts... (let us know if you are interested in acquiring a  table; there are a couple of slots left)

6) Also, inventive Bernie Deschanes will be doing a "Theatre 101 seminar", and 7) you will have the chance to do "Adventurer-oke" (Karaoke of popoular Adventurer'Club and Disney songs).

8)  At the Saturday reception, we have confimed an encore performance of the magical talents of the amazing

Terry Ward! (a man with his own special Adventurers Club connection)

9) Next comes the banquet, including a feature presentation by Jim Korkis (see above) and some special live entertainment. 

10) Also, participants are invited-but not required--to "Dress for the Hunt" as a favorite adventurer.

  11)  Afterwards, we are inviting Permanent Members to a cast panel and mix/mingle session.  The following, by nickname, have confirmed wanting to participate (keep in mind that the actual panel is subject to change depending upon availability): Sugar Snap, Chipmunk Cheeks, Annelle, Green, Blondie, Tiny, Joy, Gabby, Kiki, "Rosie", Talullah, Sunny,  In addition, others have indicated an interest in the past and may yet report that they would like to participate.  The only member missing--is YOU!   

12)  Finally, after the cast panel, youngsters are excused and those desiring to see it can enjoy the late night comedy stylings of Karl Anthony!.

13) Sunday finishes up with a meet for breakfast at EPCOT hosted by Lou Mongello, a special  presentation on Lost Artifacts and Lost Continents by him, and then enjoy the FOOD and WINE festival!   What a weekend!
