FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT TRIBE REGISTRATION
Why register?
-
Just for the fun of it. Let’s face it, we adventurers are all obsessed with anything having to do with great interactive theater such as Adventurers Club and its tribes. Join the masses and register your tribe, thus avoiding having TWO tribes with the same number.
- Why are you having tribes?
This idea is loosely based on the legend of Emil Bellhall, Junior Adventurer from Sandusky, Ohio, Tribe 602, of the Adventurer’s Club at Disney, reputed to have won some major award. Obviously there must be other adventurers and tribes out there, and we at ConGaloosh would like to find out who they are and where they are.
- How do I get a tribe number?
Fill out the tribal registration information and request a number. If your first number choice has already been taken or is otherwise unavailable, your second, third, fourth, and fifth choices then will be considered.
- How do I know what number to choose?
Choose any number. It might be your area code, part of your zip code, your boy friend’s weight, your IQ, or your favorite Lottery Pick 3 number.
- What numbers are available? Are some restricted?
The numbers 100, reserved for the Congaloosh Board of Directors, 602 taken by Emil Bleehall, and the number 666 (and upside down as 999)(You didn’t really what that one did you?) are not available. Tribe 123 is the Poor Judgment Crew of Orlando. Tribe 251 is the Bama Bunch of Alabama. Tribe 452 is the Irish Bearcats of Cincinati. Tribe 101 is the Heard Herd of Sanford. Tribe 742 is the Fighting Pelicans of St Petersburg. All other numbers were available at the time of this writing, but may be taken by the time you register, so do include alternate preferences.
- What if my first choice is taken?
- Who is in my tribe?
You and anyone else you choose. It can be you by yourself, or you and twenty others.
- How big can my tribe be?
A large as you want, but try to register everyone at the same time so that everyone’s name is listed on the original charter if you are doing the paid registration.
- Can I be a member of two different tribes?
Yes, you may join as many tribes as you wish, but you must register with each tribe separately and pay with each one if you want letters.
- Is there a tribe number (member) master list?
As tribes begin to register, a list of assigned members will be periodically made available. You can see it by clicking "Users by Tribe" at the left of your screen.

We dont, unless you want a kit sent to you, except enough to register the tribe. Your information will not be sold or given to any group outside The ConGaloosh Society, Inc. The more ways we have to contact you, the more efficient our communication can be. Email will always be our first line of contact, but sometimes we may need to mail items to you or call you with specific information or questions.
- How much does it cost to register my tribe?
Nothing. Nada. Zip. If you want the "STUFF", there is kit fee of $25 for the first member, and $7 for each additional registered tribe member. These embroidered letters are not cheap, and this is offered simply for your convenience.
- How do I pay the tribe kit fee if I want one?
- What do I get for $25?
A “Tribe Charter” document (8½ x11) listing the tribe number, city location, and individual tribe member names; one set of three digit tribal numbers; a 5x7 photo of the Adventurer’s Club cast at the CONGALOOSH 2009 Friday night VIP event; a DVD of the CONGALOOSH 2009 Saturday night banquet activities; and special perks (to be announced at a later date) at the CONGALOOSH 2010 event.
- What does each additional tribe member get?
- If adventurers join our tribe at a later date, can I get a new charter with their names on it? How much does that cost?
Of course—current price is $3 for a new charter, and $7 for the new adventurer.
- What benefits will my tribe receive at CONGALOOSH 2010?
Banquet seating will be on a tribal basis. The first Registered tribes and members who register for the Convention, ConGaloosh 2010, will be assigned the first and closest seating in the banquet hall.
- What is the difference between ConGaloosh and The Adventurer’s Club?
ConGaloosh is a nonprofit organization celebrating all great interactive theatre. Disney’s Adventurer’s Club is honored through ConGaloosh as simply the ultimate interactive theatre. This tribal structure is quite similar to the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and other fraternal organizations.
- How should our tribe prepare for CONGALOOSH 2010?
- Make and decorate a tribe flag or banner to bring with you (an “Outstanding Banner” award will be given.)
- Develop your own tribe slogan or motto, a secret handshake, a secret password, a yell, tribe colors, or other mystic and mysterious activities to make your tribe unique.
- Develop a skit for the Saturday night banquet (a skit competition will be held.)
- Choose a tribe totem with which you can identify (i.e.: bear, turtle, platypus, alligator, wharf rat, etc.)
- What should my tribe banner look like?
It can be like a flag, or staff, or pennant, or an animal skin hung from a cross bar. Decorate it with paint, pins, patches, beads, bangles, bows, and anything else you choose, although common sense and safety must prevail.
- What other activities can my tribe do?
- Visit a tavern where you like to raise a glass or two
- While away the hours telling adventurous stories and lies, and dream of great things to do
- Recite the ConGaloosh Creed, any other Creeds you know, Sing a Club All Purpose Theme Song, Give your tribe salute to strangers (please wear running shoes if doing this).
- Teach the uninitiated, the “great unwashed,” all the charms and characteristics of The ConGaloosh Society, Inc. (and other famous clubs) and sign them up as members of your tribe
- Save the Children of Krakatoa
